A. Papariga has leading position in KKE ballot

KKE candidates for January 25 elections are made up of 35% women and 34.4% young people

Former communist party KKE secretary general Aleka Papariga has been given the leading position in the party’s nationwide ‘State Deputies’ ballot ticket in the upcoming January 25 elections.

Current KKE secretary general Dimitris Koutsoumbas will run as a candidate in the second constituency of Athens and Viotia.

The KKE ballot is made up of teachers, professors and scientists with 35% of the candidates in the next election being women. Ages from 25 to 39 years of age make up 34.4% of the candidates.
