Lafazanis: Polls have collapsed

Eurozone a German prison, says leftist leader

Panagiotis Lafazanis leader of the leftist party Popular Unity, formed from radical left SYRIZA, said the Greek citizens had turned into ‘slaves of ruthless blackmailers and guardians’ referring to the Troika and the third memorandum, Friday. Speaking to Alpha radio station, he accused the Troika of being worse than a junta because, as he claimed, it determined the finest detail in our lives ‘even when the pharmacies would open or if the shops would open on Sundays’. Lafazanis underlined that Greece had reached such lengths of ‘neocolonialism’ that the ‘protectorate palyed no role and had no value at all’. The pro-drachma politician blasted the polling companies saying they ‘had collapsed just like the systemic political landscape’. Lafazanis accused the Eurozone of becoming a ‘German economic prison that leads to the disintegration of societies, especially the weaker countries’.
