Greek director Yiorgos Lanthimos’ film “The Lobster” received seven nominations from the British Independent Film Awards on Tuesday, five months after winning the Jury Prize at the 68th Cannes Film Festival.

The movie is nominated in the following categories:

-Best British Independent Film
-Best Director,
-Best Screenplay
-Producer of the Year,
-Best Male performance for Colin Farrell and Best Male and
-Female supporting roles for Olivia Colman and Ben Whishaw.

The awards will be announced on December 6, 2015.
