LAOS leader will be moved out of ICU today

Leader of the Popular Orthodox Party (LAOS) Giorgos Karatzaferis is expected to come out of the ICU today, after his successful surgery on Sunday.

Mr. Katatzaferis underwent an angioplasty and stent procedure to open a blocked blood vessel.

LAOS leader was rushed to the hospital late on Saturday because he was experiencing chest pains.

It should be noted that Mr. Karatzaferis was scheduled to travel on Sunday to Cyprus, to attend the events for the 40th anniversary of the Turkish invasion.
