“Live Long and Prosper” A farewell to beloved Leonard Nimoy

He followed his character’s advice. He lived long, prospered and was beloved by millions

Gaunt-faced, with a deep, thoughtful voice and a serious look. Our “Mr. Spock”, beloved Leonard Nimoy, died on Friday morning at his home in Bel Air, Los Angeles. He was 83.

His wife, Susan Bay Nimoy stated that the cause of death was end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Mr. Nimoy had announced his disease only last year, which he attributed to years of smoking, a habit which he had given up three decades earlier.

He was a poet, a photographer, a musician, and above all, a real Actor. He became a folk hero beloved by millions across the world for his role as Spock in the Star Trek series, and movies.
