MH30 pilot deliberately deprived the passengers of air, says first independent study

He depressurized the cabin before performing a controlled ditching in the Indian Ocean

The first study that attempts to explain, based on scientific data, the mystery of flight MH370 that disappeared on March 8 suggests that the pilot was responsible for the death of the passengers.

Almost three months on, the disappearance of Malaysia’s Flight MH370 that was carrying 239 passengers from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing remains shrouded in mystery, despite the unprecedented search operations that are still underway, with the participation of several countries.

Ewan Wilson, a researcher from New Zealand with extensive experience in airline accidents, has announced the findings of his research to the media. According to his research, Malaysian pilot Zaharie Ahmad Shah deliberately depressurized the cabin of the plane about four hours before it was lost.

Oxygen masks would have dropped down automatically in the cabin. However, their supply is limited to just 20 minutes.

The sleeping passengers would have passed out within the space of a few minutes while the rest of the passengers, including the crew whose air supply is a bit longer, would have slipped into a coma and died shortly after from oxygen starvation.

According to Wilson’s theory, Ahmad Shah locked his co-pilot out of the cockpit and survived long enough to evade radar and proceed with his murderous plan.

He performed a controlled ditching in the sea and the plane landed and sank in one piece, which explains why no debris has been found.

However, Ewan Wilson’s theory does not explain the reasons why the pilot would plan and execute such a heinous act.
