Formula One driver Michael Schumacher’s management has criticised German weekly magazine, Bunte, for giving readers false hope after a reportage stated that Schumacher had taken his first steps two years after he had hit his head on a rock while skiing in 2013.

The report headlined, “He can walk again!” stated that the 46-year-old – who was in a coma for 159 days before being moved to a rehabilitation clinic close to his home near Lake Geneva – had taken his first steps after two years.

Brunte,  however, will not retract and claims to stand by its report despite the denial.
