He reportedly assured that the issue of uninsured lawyers and medical centers will be resolved

The Minister of Health Makis Voridis met the president of Athens Bar Association Vassilis Alexandris to discuss the issue of 8,672 uninsured lawyers.

According to information, during their meeting Mr. Voridis confirmed that he will examine the whole issue and will provide a solution. Also, Mr. Voridis reportedly confirmed that he will resolve the issue occurred regarding the medical centers of lawyers to meet the existing needs in medical specialities (GPs – microbiologists, etc.).

It should be noted that the uninsured lawyers reach 8,672, whereas active lawyers are 22,172.

At the same time, according to information, there is also an overdue payments issue, while 8,582 lawyers in Athens and 17,380 lawyers across Greece have not paid their insurance contributions.
