Having sex twice or more a week reduced the possibility of fatal heart attacks for men compared to those who had sex once am month, according to a study published by British researchers in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health. The study also indicated that 30 minutes of sex burnt over 85 calories, while being sexually active twice a week could also prevent colds and infections. Food nutritionist Shona Wilkinson said regular sex could boost someone’s immune system, bring stress relief and improve bladder tone. ”It improves the quality of sleep and can even help to get rid of pain’, said Wilkinson.
