If the current good cooperation between Greece and the institutions continues, there will soon be a deal on the second list of prior actions, European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, Pierre Moscovici, said on Thursday during a press conference in Brussels.

The French Commissioner highlighted that cooperation with Greek authorities is very good and reminded that Greece has already implemented the first set of reforms releasing 2 billion euros.

“The Commission’s opinion is that the level of work and cooperation is quite satisfactory,” he mentioned adding that progress has been made, Greece has made many steps, but that there’s still a lot of work to be done on Greece’s side and some decisive reforms must be completed now.

“We are certain that with the same positive spirit of cooperation and an effort from everyone’s side we will reach success,” Mr. Moscovici said.

Regarding the second set of prior actions, Mr. Moscovici said that no agreement has yet been reached but he refused to refer to specific reforms that are included. “We have to show some patience” he added.

“I’m certain we will agree soon,” French Commissioner concluded.

However, Commission sources did not rule out the possibility of getting the list finalized during today’s Eurogroup Working Group, or on Friday when the Economic and Financial Committee of the 28 member-states convenes.
