NASA claims discovery of alien life certain within two decades

Not little green people, but even mononuclear organisms

NASA scientist Ellen Stofan gave a speech in Washington D.C. in which she said that our galaxy is comprised of two hundred million planets like ours. Thus the question is not whether scientists will discover alien life or not, but rather when, since it’s a given. She also stated that NASA scientists know full well where to look for alien life forms on other planets as well as how to look for it efficiently.

Stofan considers it extremely possible that alien life will have been discovered in other planets of our galaxy within twenty years. Jeffery Newmark, director of Heliophysics in NASA added that “It’s not a matter of whether, but rather a matter of when we will discover them”. Stofan pointed out what the scientifically-driven amongst us already know: That we should not expect to discover little green people, but rather even mononuclear organisms.

Jim Green, director of Planetary Science at NASA stated that recent research suggests that 50% of Mars’ northern hemisphere once hosted oceans over 1,500 meters deep. The same research suggests that the “Red planet” played host to water for more than 1,200 million years!

Scientists at the Hubble telescope have gathered strong evidence that Ganymede, one of Jupiter’s moons has salt water and underground oceans possibly under two layers of ice. These findings, combined with rich mineral deposits on Saturn’s moon of Enceladus, all point to a strong suggestion of the existence of life on other planets.
