NATO Tiger Meet 2022: The multinational exercise was successfully completed (photos)

“NATO Tiger Meet 2022”, which started on Monday 9 May, was held for the first time in Greece

More than 60 aircraft and helicopters from Greece (F-16, M2000-5 Mk2, F-4E, C-130H, AB-205A and EMB-145H), Belgium (F-16 MLU), France (RAFALE, E-2C), Switzerland (F/A-18 Hornet), Spain (EF-18 Hornet), Italy (EF-2000 Eurofighter) and the Czech Republic (Mi-24) participated in the NATO multinational exercise “Tiger Meet 2022”, which was completed today.

The exercise was conducted throughout the FIR Athens, day and night, in order to provide high quality operational training in the spirit of “train as you fight”, with the pilots completing more than six hundred take offs from Araxos Air Base.

During the exercise, complex air missions were carried out, covering a wide range of scenarios of modern air warfare (defense/offensive operations, air isolation, dynamic targeting, operations of suppression – destruction of enemy air defenses, targeting of time-sensitive air targets, air force missions for the benefit of land – sea operations).

The exercise also included Hellenic Army and Navy forces, as well as observers and personnel from Austria, Germany, the United States, the Netherlands, Portugal and Poland.
