A vigil was held for recent bullying victim Vangelis Giakoumakis who allegedly committed suicide after being bullied at the Dairy School of Ioannina. The gathering at Syntagma Square was organized on social media and honored all high-profile bullying cases in Greece while it was also attended by a number of parents and students who have felt the ugliness of bullying, a growing problem and sign of the times.

Those who attended the vigil held photos of bullied victims while a number of those present wore shirts in with the initials of the dead.
