During the last 15 years, Campbell has spent about $218,000 restoring the plane

Inspired by his passion for the aircraft Bruce Campbell  converted a Boeing 727-200 used as a Greek aircraft until the mid-1960s into a home.

Former electrical engineer from Portland, Oregon has been living in a Boeing 727 jet since 1999, when he got the aircraft and placed it in a forest near Portland.

During the last 15 years, Campbell has spent about $218,000 restoring the plane to make it into a sustainable, but rather unusual house, since he has left much of the equipment intact and uses the cockpit as a place to study.
