Paleontologists discover new dinosaur Wendiceratops species (vid)

Welcome to the Wendiceratops pinhornensis!

Dr. Michael Ryan, curator of vertebrate paleontology at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, discusses his latest discovery of a new species of horned dinosaur from Alberta, Canada. The Wendiceratops pinhornensis looks like its successor – Triceratops. It had a frilly neck and horns over its eyes and ears that paleontologists believe were used in mating rituals.
