Dimitsana is a mountain village, built on a mountain slope at an elevation of 950 meters. Its southern side presents a marvelous view of megalopolis plain and Taygetous. Home ot remarkable mansions, the town has a school, museum, and library. Pictured is the Open-Air Water Power Museum created after the restoration of the pre-industrial facilities based on the Water Power. it includes a flourmill, a traditional cauldron, a tannery, a tanner’s house and a gunpowder mill.
