The Ladonas River is the waterway rink of the prefectures of Achaia and Arcadia. In mythology, it was called the “dragon” and was a place of divine appointments and numerous battles of the 12 Olympic gods. Ancient travel writer Pausanias visited in 174 A.D. and wrote “there is no more beautiful river in Greece or elsewhere.” These days, people come to the river for rafting, kayaking, fishing and hiking. It exceeds 60 kilometers.
