It’s the area that has launched a thousand postcards. Breathtakingly beautiful and haunting if you imagine that it was created as a result of a number of violent volcanic eruptions. The steep cliffs are layer upon layer of red volcanic rock topped off with the glistening white homes on top resembling snowy peaks.
