Speaking to Italian newspaper “La Repubblica” Pope Francis revealed that according to “Credible evidence” one in fifty of Catholic priests is a pedophile! As he explained, his Vatican advisers tried to assure him that pedophilia within the Catholic Church is limited to 2%.

He argued, however, that he will clear this “leprosy” of  child abuse that has plagued the home of Catholocism.

“I find these figures unacceptable”, he said.

According to expert consultants of the Vatican, this figure includes “priests, bishops and cardinals” of the Catholic Church.

The Pope also warned that the percentages of people who knew about this thing were much greater, and even within peoples’ families, no one never having said anything because of their fear is even more commonplace.

These statements by the Pope were just a week after he met six victims of pedophile priests, of which he asked for forgiveness on behalf of the church.
