Potami leader presents the party’s main positions

He criticized the coalition government parties and described them as incompetent, while blaming the parties of the Left for bewilderment

The leader of Potami party Stavros Theodorakis presented on Sunday the party’s main positions on current issues during the 1-day convention held at Michael Cacoyannis Foundation.

The goal of Potami leader, as his recent interventions showed, is to take advantage of the crisis in Democratic Left party and PASOK, while SYRIZA is receiving more criticism and promote his party as the political power that will be called to participate in a coalition government after the elections.

He intends to “to heal the country’s wounds” and named his party “a large movement of the radical centre” and “of changes”.

Theodarakis criticized the coalition government parties and described them as incompetent, while blaming the parties of the Left for bewilderment.

He claimed, that Potami wants to see “a different Greece, productive and extrovert, a compeer member of the EU, without ambivalences and oscillations”.

Theodorakis stated that he would like also to see a government organized in a more effective way, with fewer ministers and without any deputy ministers. He also mentioned that he would like to deal with the issue of bureaucracy by establishing an Independent Legislation Authority.

Regarding the corruption issue, he argued that there is a need to establish an anti-corruption European Commissioner who will be able to conduct investigations.
