Prices for building materials dropped

The Hellenic Statistical Authority reported that construction prices dropped by 2.4% in November

The Hellenic Statistical Authority said that prices for building materials dropped by 2.4% in November compared with the same month in the previous years while prices remained the same from October.

The report published by the statistics service said that steel pipe prices fell 7.4% in November, window prices fell 5.6%, diesel oil prices fell 5.5%, interior door prices dropped by 4.7%, wooden floor prices went down 4%, cement prices fell 3.5%, and plastic pipes were down 3%. On the other hand, electricity prices rose 4.9%, brick prices rose 3.3% and tiles rose 1.5%.
