The producers of street markets will distribute free food on Afidnes tolls station. They will give bags with vegetables and fruits to passing cars whereas they have stated that they will continue their protests.

The board of Association of Professional Producers and Sellers of street markets, who oppose to to the new draft law on street markets decided to arrange a meeting with Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and Vice President Evangelos Venizelos, while they are in direct contact with all opposition parties.

The producers will participate in the rallies organized for the Labor Day and they will gather at Kanigos Square.

On Friday, May 2 , the bill is scheduled to be submitted to the Parliament and the producers have called for a large demonstration in the centre of Athens in front of the Parliament at 10:30 am.

On Saturday, May 3, producers will distribute free food in Perissos area at 10:30 am.
