Luxury on the high seas…

The Quantum of the Seas cruise ship of Royal Carribean International (RCI), with Srecko “Felix” Ban at the helm, docked at the Port of Piraeus at 11 a.m. on May 18. The third-largest cruise ship in the world and the largest in the Mediterranean made its maiden voyage on November 2, 2014.
347 meters wide with 2090 cabins and the capacity to transport 4,905 passengers and 1,500 crew members, the ship has amazing comforts. Its 16 decks feature a number of entertainment features that Royal Caribbean is known for – the DreamWorks® Experience offers exclusive shows and character breakfasts, the 40-foot-long FlowRider® surf simulator, and the signature Rock Wall. Quantum of the Seas is the first ship to offer North StarSM, which gives guests a breathtaking 360-degree view from a jewel-like glass capsule 300 feet in the air. For an even more exhilarating experience, there’s even the new RipCord by iFly®, the first skydiving simulator at sea.

If you prefer more traditional entertainment but still want an experience at sea that is unforgettable, the Quantum of the Seas also presents the first bumper car and roller skating offerings at sea. After an exciting day at sea or exploring an exotic port, passengers can unwind in the Vitality SpaSM and treat themselves to a signature treatment or the full-service salon. They may also return to the luxurious stateroom, which has been designed in a revolutionary new way to keep families connected while ensuring that adults also have their own space to relax and recharge for their next adventure.
