Reuters: 51% of PPA privatization ready

The second phase is proceeding as planned

Three companies were asked to submit binding bids for 51% of the PPA by the government, according to Reuters. Cosco, Dutch APM Terminals as well as Ports of America, ICTS and Utilico have progressed to the second phase of negotiations.

According to Reuters’s source, a government official, the government informed investors on Wednesday concerning a changed invitation to submit offers for 51% instead of 67%.

The news agency claims that the new Greek government is seeking to renegotiate a rescue plan and is ready to reexamine sales of government property, but only if the state partakes in any form of privatizations.
