Samaras clash with Tsipras on debt issue in view of the Presidential elections

Samaras accuses SYRIZA for leading to a new memorandum or bankruptcy by assuming the debt as unsustainable. Tsipras on the other hand insists on a European Conference which will clear most of the Greek debt

In anticipation of the critical negotiations with Troika, the Greek Prime Minister and the President of the main opposition are preparing for the poll “match” in view of the Presidential elections.

Both sides focus on restructuring of Greek sovereign debt and the diametrically opposed approaches to sustainability.

Mr. Antonis Samaras accused and at the same time launched an attack against SYRIZA for leading to a new memorandum or bankruptcy by assuming the debt as unsustainable.

From his side  Mr. Alexis Tsipras during his speeches in Italy and Spain insisted on a European Conference which like back  in 1953, will clear most of the debt in the countries of the South.
