The decision was taken in a meeting between Peloponnese regional authority head and Deputy Minister of Transportation

In the meeting that was held on Wednesday, July 23 at Tripoli between Peloponnese regional authority head Petros Tatoulis and Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Transportation and Networks Michalis Papadopoulos, it was decided that the testing of the operation of Greek water runways for seaplanes will start from the Peloponnese.

“Our goal is for seaplanes to become an alternative touristic product, not a new regular transportation means” Papadopoulos and Tatoulis underlined at the end of their meeting.
