Senior HS student wants 2,500 euros for lost phone

The teacher lost his cell phone during the Panhellenic exams three years ago

A senior high school student from Volos Thessaly is seeking 2,500 euros worth of compensation after a teacher lost his cell phone during the Panhellenic Exams three years ago. The student sat for the exams with his expensive phone at hand.

He was required to leave his cell phone in box with others outside the exam center. Leaving the room he realized that his phone was missing. His parents started legal proceedings against the school that lost his 700-euro phone.

The decision for the lost phone is expected to come out over the coming days but has caused a great deal of concern among the teaching community of Volos.
