Eurovision star Sakis Rouvas is not one to get political, but he couldn’t help but respond to the turmoil and social unrest caused by the referendum announcement. He wrote the following on his Facebook fan page:

“The difference between an intelligent man with a fool is that the first learns from his mistakes, whereas the second tries in every way to prove that what he does is right,
And he repeats (his errors)…!
Did the negotiation succeed or fail in the goals that the government had set?
If not, then (the government) has the obligation to create a government of national rescue!
The mandate that was given by the people was not to stay in power regardless of result or time continuing efforts until it feels that it has not succeeded!
The issue is not to have the specific government continue until it proves that it was not the wrong choice!!!
People aren’t interested in the people but the results..!
The matter is not personal, but national…!
It is of concern to all Greeks…!”
