A certain group of posing women amplifies the already existing vulgarity of the horrendous skirmishes in Gaza, as it crossed their mind that this is a way of boosting their troops’ morale.
By posting sexy pictures in the relevant Facebook group ” Standing by Israeli military defense forces”, dozens of members send their personal message to soldiers. Some in just their underwear, others nude or holding assault rifles, these group’s women also write slogans on their bodies, such as ” I love Israeli defense forces” , or ”to hell with Hamas”
The success of this act was so huge that within only a few days the page gathered thousands of likes. According to its founder, Gabriel Bejo, the idea was born out of his own concern for the soldiers. As he stated further on, ”nobody can match Israel as it has the world’s greatest brains as well as the most beautiful women.”
Nevertheless, the page vanished just a few days later, only to be replaced by a similar one. Also, another page sprang up, entitled ” Girls love Israeli Defense Forces”, although less provocative and revealing.
