SYRIZA’s parliamentary spokesman: It is possible to hold elections in autumn

He stressed that Prime Minister Antonis Samaras tries to boost morale because he knows that he cannot gather 180 MPs for the election of the President of Hellenic Republic

The parliamentary spokesman of the main opposition party SYRIZA Panagiotis Lafazanis talked about the possibility to hold early elections in autumn.

Mr. Lafazanis speaking at MEGA TV channel said that Prime Minister Antonis Samaras tries to boost morale because he knows that he cannot gather 180 MPs for the election of the President of Hellenic Republic.

“It is not possibly for government to find 180 members needed to elect the President,” said Mr. Lafazanis adding that “the government can not cope with the memorandum deadlocks”.

However, Prime Minister said yesterday that early elections is out of question.
