The 43rd Book Festival to be held from September 5 to 21 at Zappeion

Book and music lovers are invited to come and enjoy the numerous special events

The 43rd Book Festival, which is dedicated to the literary and artistic work of the great Greek poet and novelist Nanos Valaoritis, will be held from September 5 to 21 in the open space of Zappeion.

The festival is co-organized by the Association of Book Publishers and the Organization of Culture, Athletics, and Youth of the Municipality of Athens, in collaboration with the Greek National Committee of UNICEF.

The Book Festival will be held in a specially designed area, open to the public, with an art exhibition of Valaoritis’ works and a presentation of his literary work. The festival will also collaborate with Athens Art Network that will present the “Athens Garden Festival,” from September 12 to 16, featuring many interesting music and dance events.

Book and music lovers are invited to come and enjoy the numerous special events, such as tributes, theatrical stands, theater games for kids, book reviews etc. Admission is free.
