The unhappy end for Sky Greece

A business venture that failed

Sky Greece started off with the best of possibilities when it kicked off in Canada five years ago by veteran aviators with decades worth of experience. They risked the bad business climate in both Canada and Greece, but at the end of the day, it proved to strenous for the company to survive.

Air Canada had already implemented plans for long-term flights to and from Greece and Air Transat had strong allies with hotel networks in Canada and unbeatable packages.

So Sky Greece reached the point of having 1,000 passengers with tickets that were just worthless pieces of paper and fines from the Canadian Civil Aviation Authority. Now, all that’s left is to sell the pieces. 27
