A hashish plantation with a total of 114 trees was found by the police in the forest area of the municipality of Messina in Kalamata, and a 55 year old man has been arrested .

In particular, police officers by taking advantage of earlier information given to them, had originally detected the area of the cannabis seedling plantation in the municipality of Messina, which in turn was under discreet surveillance for a while.

Before long, following an organized police operation, a 55 year old man who seemingly cultivated the plantation, was arrested. The plantation was later confiscated and eradicated.

In his possession as well as in his house, the police found and seized a total amount of seven grams of hashish, cannabis seeds weighing 4.4 grams, and various objects associated with the cultivation of hashish.

The arrested will be taken to the Public Prosecutor of Kalamata.
