The recapitalization of banks is part of the economy’s normalization, Katseli says

She also added that capital controls will be lifted early 2016

The president of Hellenic Bank Association and National Bank governor Louka Katseli in a meeting with the National Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (ESEE) said she is in favour of second business opportunities and the settlement of bad loans.

She also added that capital controls will be lifted early 2016.

Katseli noted that the recapitalization of the banks will be made in the framework of the normalization of the economy which has to be followed by the return of deposits in the Greek banks.

Katseli answered to the president of ESEE about banking problems that enterprises have to face by, including the high cost of e-banking services and the extremely high commission on debit and credit cards for both consumers and traders.
