52 undocumented migrants were located by Greek authorities today, after their dinghy sank

A super puma helicopter is currently searching the sea area of Nees Kydonies in Lesvos island in order to locate a missing undocumented migrant.

Earlier on Friday, 12 undocumented migrants that were located by the Greek authorities on a beach in the same area said that they were on board a dingy which sank. They also reported that a woman has gone missing.

In a separate incident, the Coast Guard is searching the sea region north of Agathonissi island to locate two missing undocumented migrants. Forty undocumented migrants were found earlier on an Agathonissi beach who said that they were on board a dinghy that sank. They also reported two persons are missing.
