Tourists heading for Greece enjoy the amenity of extra flights

The Greek AEGEAN Airline has added 71,856 additional seats, an increase of 39% compared to August 2013

In more detail the Greek AEGEAN Airline, has added 71,856 additional seats, an increase of 39% compared to August 2013, followed by Ryanair airline with 51,408 extra seats and percentage increase over last year of almost 43.2%.
The capitals Greek airport of “Eleftherios Venizelos” has been enhanced with new routes from a wide number of airlines such as the Aegean Airlines, Alitalia, Brussels Airlines, easyJet, Gulf Air, Meridiana, Ryanair, the SAS, Singapore Airlines, transavia.com and Vueling.
Already significant delays have been noted at airports of Heraklion, Chania, Santorini in Greece, since the infrastructure is not sufficient to accommodate the thousands of passengers arriving with both scheduled and charter flights.
