Troika wants to transform pensions to… pocket money

From 800 million euro up to 1 billion reduction of pension expenditure requested Troika according to former Minister of Labour and member of PASOK, Mr. Giorgos Koutroumanis while speaking to Mega channel

According to Mr. Koutroumani, the amount of the reduction will depend on the amount to be agreed between the government and troika for the “financial gap”, which the government estimates at 300-400 million euro, while troika at 2 billion.

Further, among other and according to the Former Minister of Labour statement, Troika calls for reducing the coefficient for calculating the pension from 2% to 1.7% or 1.8% for those who retire after 2015.

At the same time Troika proposes to increase the minimum necessary stamps for retirement from 4500 to 6000.
