Crunch time for Greek state finances generated another three-way teleconference on Friday between Angela Merkel, Francoise Hollande and Greek PM Alexis Tsipras, reportedly lasting one hour.

According to sources, Tsipras continued to press home his government’s volition for a quick and mutually acceptable agreement with institutional creditors, one aimed at freeing up 7.2 bln euros left over in the second bailout.

FinMin Yanis Varoufakis and Yannis Dragasakis — the one with two “n” in his first name — were also in Tsipras’ office during the call.
