Turkish fighter jets launched new air strikes against PKK Kurdish positions in south eastern Turkey near the Turkish-Iranian, reported Turkish News Agency Dogan. The operation, which lasted 35 minutes was retaliation for the death of two Turkish soldiers by from a mine that was detonated by a remote mechanism in a nearby town. The Kurdish People’s Party (PKK) fighters have intensified their attacks against the Turkish military leading Turkish authorities to strike back.
