Turkish Airlines: The suspension of flights to Israel has been extended by another 24 hours

According to the Turkish Minister of Communications Mr. Lutfi Elvan, the decision of the Turkish airline was taken for safety reasons

Suspension of  the Turkish Airlines flights to Israel has been extended by another 24 hours according to the Turkish Minister of Communications  Mr. Lutfi Elvan.

The decision of the Turkish airline was taken for safety reasons as Elvan said: “We decided to suspend flights to Israel on Tuesday and we have now decided to extend the suspension for a further 24 hours as the risk is still present.”

Earlier itbecame known that the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) had extended by 24 hours the ban for U.S. airlines in terms of flights to and from the International Airport of Ben Gurion in Israel.
