Two Brazilians arrested for smuggling over 1.5kg cocaine in their stomachs

Two people were arrested by Greek police for attempting to smuggle over 1.5kg of cocaine into Greece. The two Brazilian nationals, 22 and 29, landed at Athens international airport “Eleftherios Venizelos’ on a flight from Sao Paolo via Doha, Sunday, where officers of the Attica narcotics department arrested them after discovering they had ingested 822 and 829 grams of cocaine each. The 22yo had swallowed 78 self made packages, while his 29yo accomplice was found with 47 packages in his stomach. The suspects are reportedly members of a larger drug ring smuggling narcotics in Greece from Latin America.
