Two Greek resorts among the winners of World Golf Awards 2014

Golf tourism constitutes a vital segment in the global travel and tourism marketplace.

Two luxurious Greek resorts were among the winners of the inaugural World Golf Awards that took place on November 15 at the Conrad Algarve in Portugal.

More specifically, Costa Navarino collected the award for “Greece’s Best Golf Course 2014” for The Dunes Course and the Porto Carras Grand Resort was voted “Greece’s Best Golf Hotel 2014”.

The only global initiative to recognize excellence in the golf hospitality industry, the event saw St Andrews Links – Old Course recognized as the World’s Best Golf Course, while The Els Club Teluk Datai was awarded the honor of World’s Best New Golf Course.
