USA: They are sending tanks and soldiers in Eastern Europe for exercises

According to today’s sources in Pentagon the United States will send tanks and soldiers in eastern Europe in an attempt to reassure NATO allies who are concerned about the actions of Russia in Ukraine.

The representative of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant Vanessa Hillman stated that about 600 American soldiers of armored will be deployed in October in Poland and the Baltic countries to participate in military exercises in cooperation with other member states of NATO, The soldiers will replace their paratroopers of the 173rd Airborne Brigade already there.

In contrast to paratroopers, soldiers of the brigade called the “Iron Horse” will be supported by tanks M-1 Abrams and armored infantry.

In recent months, the American army proceeded to conduct a series of exercises on the eastern border of NATO countries, while Washington also sent a Polish fighter aircraft F-16 and participated in air shipments in the Baltic countries.

Today, Kiev and the West accused Russia of being directly involved in the fighting in eastern Ukraine. According to NATO, at least 1,000 Russian troops are on the ground and support the pro-Russian separatists.
