Pilot was forced to land the plane without the wheels of the right wing
Analysts characterized the landing of the forced landing at Gatwick Airport in London as exemplary.
The Boeing 747 of Virgin Atlantic was heading to Las Vegas with 447 passengers onboard. Shortly after take of the pilot became aware of a problem on the wheels and asked to return back to Gatwick airport immediately.
