Voultepsi: We are working towards the best results possible as far as negotiations with Troika are concerned

Government’s aim is “to complete the agreement by the end of the year “- How did the governments spokeswoman commented on PASOK’s intraparty controversy and on scenarios of a meeting between Samaras – Tsipras

While government-troika negotiations are “blocked”, as lenders increase their demands on the Greek side and seek more and more to fill the budget gap in 2015, the government’s spokeswoman stated that: “We are currently negotiating with Troika. Although we cannot reveal any information on negotiations we can assure that we are working towards the best results possible as far as negotiations with Troika are concerned.

While speaking to TV station SKAI, Ms Sofia Voultepsi  stressed that Government’s aim is “to complete the agreement by the end of the year without jeopardizing the status of development as recorded in the 2015 budget. ”

The spokeswoman also commented on PASOK’s intraparty controversy following the open question of Evangelos Venizelos by Giorgos Papandreou by saying that “There is no such concern “.

Finally, Ms Voultepsi stated for the scenarios of a meeting between Samaras –tsipras that: “

The differences between the government and opposition are “abysmal”. As an example government’s position on the debt which claims to be viable, unlike SYRIZA who insists that is not sustainable”.
