“Many things can happen, many scenarios are conceivable”

Eurogroup Chief Jeroen Dijsselbloem said that the 18 eurozone finance ministers discussed their “strong determination to ensure the strength of our monetary union.” He made it clear that the Eurogroup still consists of 19 members, stressing profusely that it was the Greek government who walked out of negotiations while these were still ongoing.

“The program will expire on Tuesday, all other options are open,” he said.

“We stand ready to support Greece if and when required, after the (EFSF financial) program expires,” he said.
