PM Alexis Tsipras addresses SYRIZA parliamentary group

He ruled out the possibility of forming a unity government

The government moves on and continues achieving its aims refuting any scenarios of parenthetical government, said Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras addressing SYRIZA parliamentary group on Tuesday noon.

Mr. Tsipras ruled out the possibility of forming a unity government stressing that “we will make it till 2019, I hope those who fight us make it, too” he said stressing “Let’s forget any scenarios on unity government”.

SYRIZA won three elections fighting against everyone, with our only ally the Greek society, Mr. Tsipras said lashing out at opposition.

Prime Minister talked about the ending of the first round of the prior actions set which led to the disbursement of the two billion euros tranche and the bank recapitalization describibg them as government’s success. He even thanked Euclid Tsakalotos and George Stathakis for their efforts during the successful negotiations.

Mr. Tsipras also said that government revenues have increased and that there is even small increase in consumption, despite capital controls imposed by the lenders adding that the government should take advantage of that positive moment so as to accelerate its course towards to the end of crisis and the implementation of reforms.
