The first Sunday of every year traditionally offers Greeks and tourists alike free admission to ancient sites and museums around Greece. These include the Acropolis, Ancient Agora, the Acropolis Museum and all other sites around Greece.
Visitors can head to the Byzantine Museum for the El Greco exhibition or any other site.
Furthermore, the Museum of Cycladic Art will be open on Tuesday, January 6, on Epiphany Day even though ordinarily it remains closed. Visitors can visit the medical display Iasis, featuring medical techniques from Ancient Greece.
