Set the foundations for qualifying to stage group

The Greek football teams that took part in the qualifying round of the Europa League secured three wins out of three in their first leg matches, Thursday night, making them favourites to advance through to the group stages. PAOK had an impressive 3-0 victory in Georgia against Dynamo Tbilisi, while Olympiakos, also away from home, defeated Portuguese side Aruca 1-0. Finally, Panathinakos recorded a 3-0 victory against 9-men Danish club Brondby in Athens.
