4.2 tremor strikes near island of Tilos

It was registered 12 kilometres southwest of the island

A 4.2 magnitude earthquake occurred a short while ago near the island of Tilos.

According to the Athens Geodynamic Institute, the epicentre of the tremor is located at a distance of 12 kilometres southwest of the island in the sea area.

The focal depth of the earthquake was 10 km.
